BioCare MicroCell Lycopene Complex. The key to efficient carotenoid activity is the importance of consuming a combination of natural carotenoids, in particular, Iycopene. Lycopene is an unsaturated carotenoid pigment which imparts the red colour in fruits and vegetables and is similar in composition to beta carotene. Lycopene is more readily absorbed from the intestinal tract as a micelle (microcell) in the presence of mono unsaturated oils such as olive oil as found traditionally in the Mediterranean diet.
MicroCell Lycopene Plus is micellised by the unique MicroCell process to enhance absorption and improve bioavailability.
