Infertility
Beat the odds with natural approaches to increase the chances of becoming pregnant
25% of couples trying for a baby experience a period of infertility. In the UK demand for conventional IVF treatment far out strips the resource available. Natural approaches to infertility are helping many couples achieve their dream of parenthood.
Content of the day:
The content of the day will include keynote speaker Dr Marilyn Glenville who will discuss nutritional approaches showing the role they can play in improving fertility and miscarriage that can boost the success rate of becoming pregnant.
In addition Acupuncturist and TCM practitioner Jani White from the Acupuncture Fertility Network will highlight how other complementary therapies such as acupuncture can also be useful to increase the chances of conception.
Elizabeth Muir, Clinical Psychologist will explain how the emotional side of infertility can itself be extremely damaging, not only to psychological well being but also has an adverse effect on the chances of conception and how hypnotherapy can help restore confidence in one's ability to conceive and have a positive effect on fertility.
Keynote Speaker - Dr Marilyn Glenville PhD
Dr Marilyn Glenville PhD is a recognised as the UK's leading nutritionist specialising in women's health. She is a registered member of the Nutrition Society, a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine, psychologist, author and broadcaster who obtained her doctorate from Cambridge University. She has studied and practiced nutrition for over 25 years, both in the UK and in the USA, focusing on the natural approach to female hormone problems.

As part of Biocare's commitment to education they are hosting a series of expert Master classes. These will be in-depth seminars exploring key health issues, including case study discussions and protocol suggestions.
Each of these all-day events will be hosted by Alessandro Ferretti* Dip ION, Nutritionist and Naturopath who will be accompanied where possible by a quest speaker, all of whom specialise in the field of each master class topic.
