Biosun use only pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs such as Sage, St John's wort, Chamomile and pure essential oils for their Earcandles. All of these ingredients are coated over the premium, pesticide-free untreated, natural and organic cotton. No parrafin wax or other synthetic ingredients are used which is just one reason why Biosun Earcandles are the preferred choice among practising therapists.
Biosun have been researching the use and effectiveness of Earcandling for over 19 years and have worked hard to bring their standards of manufacturing up to the highest pharmaceutical grade quality assurance standards. Biosun Earcandles are the only Earcandles in Europe, (and as far as we know - the world) that have the correct quality standards in place enabling them to be certified as medical products class IIa according to the latest European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. (Class IIa is the correct and current Medical Device Label required by European Law for Earcandles to be classified as safe medical products, any other Earcandles displaying a different CE label have not been approved to the current legal standards. The CE label is a safety label, not a quality label and all Earcandles must legally be classified as class IIa. Any other brands stating a CE label that is not class IIa do not have the correct and current CE label).
