The bitter food group has all but disappeared with the exception of a few rarely eaten vegetables (e.g. Dandelion, Artichoke and Watercress.) Dr. Theiss Swedish Bitters Elixir is prepared according to a centuries-old recipe precisely formulated to provide the benefits of bitter foods. It provides the missing part of the diet and helps maintain a comfortable and regular digestive system.
Directions:
Take 1 teaspoon 2 times per day, preferably after main meals. The elixir may be diluted with water or fruit juice and sweetened to taste if desired.
Shake well before using. The elixir is naturally cloudy in appearance.

Alcohol containing extracts from: Manna, Aloe, Senna leaves, Rhubarb root, Zedoary root, Angelica root, Theriaca (blend of Angelica root, Black snake root, Valerian root, Ceylon - Cinnamon bark, Zedoary root, Malabar cardamoms, Myrrh), Carline Thistle root, Myrrh, Camphor, Saffron.
Not to be taken by pregnant or nursing mothers, or if suffering from diarrhoea, intestinal obstruction or serious functional disorders of the liver.
