Herbasweet is made from juice extracted and dried apple components. To guarantee a constant quality of Herbasweet the careful selection of the raw material is a decisive product factor.
The apple specific sugars are extracted from the cells of the apples by hot water extraction. Through further processing steps the sugars are separated from the other components.
The extract obtained is de-starched, de-ionised, de-colourized and de-flavoured by a special refinement process. The finished product is a high quality, universally applicable sweetening agent.
