It is considered a general tonic and, because of its astringent properties, can also support the respiratory tract when excess mucous is a problem. The culinary herbs rosemary, Spanish sage, Spanish wood marjoram and conehead thyme have health giving properties as well as good flavours and are known to assist in the body’s immunity.

Suggested Intake: Take 1 teaspoon (5ml) once daily (adults and children over 12 years), 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) once daily (children 8-11 years), 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) once daily (children 3-7 years), between meals. Can be taken straight from the spoon or added to water or juice. Sweeten with ZyloSweet or sugar if extra sweetness is desired.
