This herbal syrup is a high potency Kiwiherb combination of the traditional digestive herbs of Meadowsweet and Aniseed, and New Zealand natives KawaKawa (Macropiper excelsum) and Hoeheria (NZ Lacebark).
The inclusion of Hoeheria, the NZ equivalent to Slippery Elm, ensures this formula is particularly soothing to the digestive tract. KawaKawa has traditionally been used as a 'digestive balancer', naturally aiding normal digestive processes. Kiwiherb Meadowsweet and KawaKawa is a fast acting tonic for digestion, especially beneficial during periods of overindulgence.

Recommended Dosage for Kiwiherb Meadowsweet and KawaKawa:
Adults (over 12yrs): Acute - 5-10ml after food, up to three (3) times daily. Chronic - 5ml after food, two (2) to three (3) times daily.
6-12 yrs: Acute - 2.5ml after food, up to three (3) times daily.
2-6 yrs: Acute - 1ml after food, up to three (3) times daily or use Kiwiherb Childrens Chamomile Extract (alcohol free formula).
1-2 yrs: Acute - 1-2 drops after each feed, or use Kiwiherb Childrens Chamomile Extract (alcohol free formula).
Contraindications and Cautions:
- Avoid continuous prolonged use (longer than 6-8 weeks) especially those with high blood pressure or fluid retention.
- Seek professional advice before using this product in pregnancy.
- Care in those with salicylate sensitivity.
