Natren Bulgaricum is a proprietary blend of Lactobacillus Bulgaricus ( LB 51) and Vitamin C. This strain on Lactobacillus is found throughout the digestive tract. It is of particular benefit to older children (over 7 years) and adults. Natren Bulgaricum capsules are a dairy-free formula for those who choose a dairy-free lifestyle and are ideal for traveling.
Natren Bulgaricum contains a minimum 2 billion live active bacteria per capsule.
The micro organism present in Natren Bulgaricum play a major role in detoxifying potentially hazardous bacteria which travel through the gastrointestinal tract.
Natren Bulgaricum helps digest proteins and decompose certain food components in fecal matter. It also helps deter undigested food particles from fermenting in the intestines. It can take two weeks to travel through the intestines, during which time it helps to make the environment more acidic by lowering the pH in the colon. L. bulgaricus is the most potent producer of much needed lactic acid and this forms a hostile environment for pathogenic (disease-causing) bacteria.
Directions:
One capsule per day, preferably with a light meal. May increase to 3-6 capsules per day as needed. Refrigerate, do not freeze or put in sunlight.
