Pharma Nord Q10 Toothpaste with fluoride: Q10 toothpaste is a spearmint flavoured toothpaste containing coenzyme Q10 and sucrose laurate as active ingredients. Q10 toothpaste is formulated to help maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance which plays a vital role in the body’s energy supply, acting in conjunction with enzymes (hence the name coenzyme Q10) to convert sugars and fat into energy. Coenzyme Q10 is also important as an antioxidant in the body. The tissues of the mouth contain both desirable and disease causing bacteria. Some of the disease causing bacteria in the mouth depend on vitamin K in their energy production processes, whilst the desirable bacteria typically use coenzyme Q10 during energy production. Thus the use of a toothpaste containing coenzyme Q10 can alter the balance of oral bacteria in favour of desirable bacteria, whilst providing a less favourable environment for bacteria causing gum disease. In addition, the compound sucrose laurate inhibits the growth of the bacterium Streptococcus mutans, the agent responsible for dental caries.
INGREDIENTS FOR Pharma Nord Q10 Toothpaste with fluoride:
• Each tube of Pharma-Nord Zymbion Q10 toothpaste contains 75ml, with a coenzyme Q10 content equivalent to 0.5%.
• Fluoride content of sodium monoflurophosphate is equivalent to 0.9% (1500ppm).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE OF Pharma Nord Q10 Toothpaste with fluoride:
• It recommends brushing teeth twice daily with Q10 toothpaste.
• For maximum benefit, the mouth should not be rinsed after brushing.
