From the San Polo de Piave in the heart of the Trevisio countryside, inland from Venice, comes this rather gentle, understated Pinot Grigio. The vineyards are in a natural depression 4 metres below the surrounding farmlands - offering plenty of water and richer soils.
Pinot Grigio Boira IGT Veneto has a strong yellow straw colour and a bouquet that is unmistable and immediate with hints of accacia flowers. On the palate it's dry, on the ond hand fairly full-bodied yet delicately flavoured, andnotably well-balanced. Pinot Grigio Boira IGT Veneto is an appealing addition to our growing Italian range from master wine maker Carlo Volpi.
