The Therapeutic Benefits

Pineapple
This sharp and delicious fruit is an excellent anti-inflammatory ingredient. This is due to the presence of a compound known as bromelain. Bromelain reduces swelling by inhibiting the action of a series of compounds producted byteh body called 'Series 2 Prostaglandins', which promote inflammation. Bromelain has shown to be effective as some types of NSAID drugs in pain releif in some circumstances.

Celery
This fresh cirspy tasting veggie is a potential pankilling master ingredient. This is because it contains a chemical called 3-n-butylphthalide (3nB), which is an effective pain killer in arthritis and gout, and has been the subject of many clinical trials that confirm this activity.

Ginger
This beautifully pungent spice is a common ingredietn in many juice recipes, and is a known remedy for nausea. But, did you know it cfan be a vital ingredient forthose with joint problems? Ginger contains a group of chemicals called gingerols. These chemicals have been shown to significantly reduce pain by preventing the formation of messenger chemicals used by the immune system to activate inflammation, called cytokines. This action is complementary to that of pineapple as it works on a different inflammatory pathway.
