The YorkTest Food Scan - Food Intolerance Indicator is a unique YES/NO food intolerance test which is the quickest way to determine whether or not your symptoms could be food related. Priced at £19.99.
YorkTest Food Scan does not provide a list of different foods, but gives you a positive or negative result. If negative, then you can rule out food as the problem. If you get a positive result, you can choose to ‘upgrade’ your Indicator test to the 113 FOOD SCAN test; where your blood sample will be analysed fully. There is no need to do another test as your original sample can be used if you upgrade within 10 days.
This sample is then analysed for antibodies which indicate that your body is unable to digest certain proteins correctly. Each protein can be traced back to a particular food.
