Absolute Aromas Organic Lavender (High - Altitude) essential oil 10ml, (also known as Lavandula Officinalis) has a fresh, floral, light and sweet aroma and is clear to pale yellow in colour.
Method of Extraction:
Steam distillation of the freshly cut flowering tops and stalks.
Lavender is the most widely used essential oil in aromatherapy, particularly for its relaxing properties. Try placing two drops on a handkerchief by your pillow when you are trying to sleep.
As Lavender blends very well with many other oils, try the following: 3 drops of Lavender, 3 drops of Mandarin and 1 drop of Geranium in a teaspoon of Sweet Almond oil added to a warm bath before a long, relaxing soak.
Did you know?
This lavender is grown organically in Provence in France. It is a “population†lavender, which is grown from seeds. It is a fine lavender that grows at higher altitudes. The lowest field that this product grows in is about 800m, and the highest is over 1300m. The high altitude lavender apart from its wonderful fine fragrance, has a higher ester content, making it an excellent therapeutic oil.
Specific Safety Advice:
