Omega-3 PUFAs are important for maintaining a healthy immune system and normal inflammatory response. Omega-3 PUFAs are required for the normal development and function of the brain.
Bio-Marine plus is a high-grade fish oil supplement that contains vitamin B12 and folic acid, two nutrients with protective effect on the heart and cardiovascular. Omega-3 fatty acids are especially known for their triglyceride lowering effect. Triglycerides are harmful fats in the blood that increase the risk of atherosclerosis. Another risk factor is homocysteine, a harmful amino acid that increases the risk of blood clots.
