Description

It is now recognised that healthy bacteria are just as important to the new born baby as to adults and that the establishment of a robust population of friendly micro-flora as soon after birth as possible is critical in driving the development of a healthy immune and digestive system.

However, it is now acknowledged that modern living conditions, particularly for the new born baby, may inhibit or slow down the natural development of the normal flora, and that this process needs a ‘boost ‘ to help immune and digestive development. Evidence now suggests that the acquisition of a beneficial microflora, in the new born can be influenced by the mother. ProVen Lactobacillus & Bifidus for Pregnancy will help support immune and digestive function of the mother during the pregnancy term.

The friendly bacteria used in this product have been specifically selected with this in mind. This product contains 10 billion of the Lab4b group of friendly bacteria used in the Swansea Baby Study. As such ProVen Lactobacillus & Bifidus for Pregnancy can be taken throughout pregnancy and also whilst breast feeding to help maintain healthy wellbeing for you and the new arrival.
