Green tea is the second most popular drink in the world (after water). Scientists now believe that both its taste and relaxing properties are attributable to its Solgar L-Theanine content. Solgar L-Theanine appears to counteract the negative effects of caffeine, an action that explains why many people find green tea to be relaxing, despite its caffeine content.
Solgar L-Theanine easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and appears to increase levels of the inhibitory neurotransmitter, gamma amino butyric acid (GABA), as well as influencing serotonin and dopamine levels. Directions:
