Description

Alfred Vogel devoted much of his life to the cultivation of herbs known by native people worldwide to have beneficial effects. Working with scientists and local people on a specially created farm in the Kalahari Desert, we have achieved a unique and sustainable organic farming method for Devil´s Claw, a herb notoriously difficult to cultivate.

This plant is native to the Southern parts of Africa. It is the tubers (or the storage roots) of the plant, measuring approximately 20cm in length, which are used medicinally. Devil´s Claw is a traditional remedy for general joint pains.

How it works:
Devil´s Claw contains a group of components known as iridoids which possess anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic and pain killing properties. The anti-inflammatory action has been shown to be equivalent to that of pharmaceutical products.

Ingredients for use of A.Vogel Devil´s Claw:

• Tincture of Harpagophytum procumbens (Devil´s Claw) dried root
• Extracted in alcohol (66% v/v).

Directions for use of A.Vogel Devil´s Claw:

• Adults: 15-20 drops 2 to 3 times daily in a little water.
• Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age 2 to 3 times daily in a little water.

Uses for A.Vogel Devil´s Claw:

• Anti-inflammatory
• Arthritis
• Rheumatism
• Sports injuries
• Fibromyalgia
• Tendonitis

Caution:

• This product is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
• Please seek medical advice if pregnant. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
