Directions
Use aduna fonio as a versatile side dish, replacing rice, quinoa, or couscous in salads, stir-fries, and soups. For microwave cooking, combine 50g of fonio with 120ml of water in a bowl, cover, and cook for 3 minutes at 800W. Let it rest for 3 minutes, then fluff with a fork to serve. For stovetop preparation, bring 120ml of water and 50g of fonio to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Fluff and enjoy. It can also be used to make nutritious porridge by simmering with milk until creamy.
